Zurich Standardizes on Siebel Financial [Top] Siebel Systems announced that the insurance and financial services company Zurich has standardized its customer service operations in Switzerland on Siebel Financial Services. Using Siebel Financial Services, the company has introduced a single customer interface to manage, synchronize, and coordinate customer interactions across multiple channels.
Gartner Lists Interactive Intelligence as Visionary [Top] Interactive Intelligence was listed as a visionary in a recently published Call Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant 2001 report by research and advisory firm, Gartner. The Call Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant assesses major call center vendors and places them in one of four quadrants: Leader, Challenger, Visionary or Niche Player.

Avaya Names Regional President [Top] Avaya announced that Michael Kiefer has joined the company as regional president, North American Sales. Kiefer will be responsible for Avaya's sales efforts in the U.S. and Canada. He joins Avaya from Cisco Systems.
Servigistics Appoints New Execs [Top] Servigistics announced that it has made two new appointments to its executive staff. Jerry Overcash was named executive vice president of worldwide sales, and Johnny Baker was appointed senior vice president, marketing and alliances. Both will report directly to Mike Landry, Servigistics' president and CEO.
