GeePS Joins HP [Top] GeePS.com announced their joining of Hewlett-Packard Company's Mobile E-services Bazaar. GeePS has developed and introduced proprietary hosted services to help brick-and-mortar merchants increase foot traffic, maximize revenue, and improve customer relationships. iBackOffice Receives Financing [Top] iBackOffice announced that it has received $2.0 million in first round financing from Global Technology Ventures, a Bank of America and Sivan Securities equity partnership. iBackOffice brings to market a service delivery infrastructure for companies seeking to outsource portions of their support functions. Interactive Intelligence in Australia [Top] Interactive Intelligence announced the opening of its support office in North Sydney, Australia. Two support specialists and a Channel & OEM sales manager will initially staff the office. Interactive Intelligence opened the new office in order to provide better customer support to its resellers and existing customer base of more than 24 companies throughout Australia. Vignette Expands Operations [Top] Vignette announced its expansion into Latin America with the opening of local offices in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. ICT Group New Contact Center [Top] ICT Group announced that it is opening a new customer contact center in Spokane, Wash. ICT Group Expands International Services [Top] ICT Group announced it has expanded its International Services operations across three continents including Europe, North America and Australia, to support increased demand for its global eCRM services. International Services is being driven by the need for global eCRM services by U.S.-based multinational and indigenous country clients serving European, Asian-Pacific and Canadian customers. Davox in Indonesia [Top] Davox announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Phintraco. The partnership authorizes Phintraco to distribute Davox's complete line of software solutions, including the Ensemble customer contact suite. Ensemble helps organizations optimize the value of every customer interaction. SITEL Forms Caribbean Operation [Top] SITEL and the Prime Minister of Jamaica announced the formation of SITEL Caribbean and the opening of a 30,000 square foot contact center in Montego Bay, Jamaica to perform eCRM and back-office processing services for SITEL’s United States clients. The contact center opened in July 2000 with the implementation of a five-year contract for a U.S. marketing research company. |
