With NICE [Top]
NICE announced that OppenheimerFunds has upgraded its
digital recording solution to include NiceLog 8.5 and has
also implemented NiceUniverse quality management
application to enable customer experience management. The
company is utilizing the NiceLog solutions in its 300-seat
Denver facility, which handles in-bound customer service
calls, and has recently implemented NiceLog 8.5 with
NiceUniverse in its smaller Denver and New York sales
operations.

Leverages KANA [Top]
KANA announced that Firstdoor is using eCRM solutions from
KANA to help clients learn on demand, via an adaptive HR
knowledgebase and a specialized customer service function
called Custom eResponses, which aim to result in more
consistent decision making, thereby reducing employer
risks and costs.
Newgen
To Provide For Volvo [Top]
Newgen Results announced an agreement with Volvo Cars of
America to provide Newgen's 'Carabunga' product as a
private branded direct marketing tool. This Internet-based
capability will enable Volvo retailers to create
customized Volvo promotions on-line.
AIU
Selects Vignette [Top]
Vignette announced that American International
Underwriters (AIU) has selected Vignette applications for
AIU's Web development, including www.aiu.com. AIU has
chosen Vignette applications for content management and
personalization.
NCR
Announces Deal With Bank of China [Top]
NCR announced a $13 million deal with Bank of China. The
order involves the purchase of NCR's Personas 74, Personas
75, Personas 84 and Personas 86 Self- Service TouchPoints
(ATMs).

Of Ireland Deposits Xchange [Top]
Xchange announced that Lifetime has selected the Xchange 7
CRM solution to help plan, develop and execute targeted
and effective customer communications campaigns. Using
Xchange Campaign, a component of the Xchange 7 suite,
Lifetime will capitalize on the growing life insurance
market in Ireland by delivering targeted offers.

Earns Award [Top]
Firepond announced that its SalesPerformer suite has been
named Editor's Choice by Customer Inter@ction Solutions
Magazine. Firepond was recognized for its innovative
approach to interactive selling and unique capabilities in
product and pricing configuration.
SmartSales
Reports Revenue [Top]
SmartSales reported record revenue of $865,000 for the
quarter ending June 30, 2001. Revenue increased 861% year
over year which also represented an increase of 50% per
cent over revenue for the first quarter of 2001.
