Study on Full Motion Digital Advertising
A new study by Arbitron showed full-motion video advertising significantly increased ad recall and purchase intent for advertised brands among mall shoppers. The study measured ad recall and purchase intent across a variety of lifestyle brands including an automotive manufacturer, electronic device manufacturer, electronic game manufacturer, national department store, health food store and television network.

Interactive Intelligence Business Communications Software Certified on VoEx IP Network
The software enables customers to extend Internet protocol trunking beyond customer premises to the public switched telephone network. According to the two companys, customers deploying Interactive Intelligence's session initiation protocol-based software on the VoEx IP network receive greater ROI through reduced costs, shortened deployment time, and improved disaster recovery capabilities.

Silverpop to Participate in Microsoft Authentication Summit
Members of the Email Service Provider Coalition (ESPC), a group formed to fight spam while protecting the delivery of legitimate email, will join together on August 12 to meet with Microsoft's anti-spam, Hotmail, and MSN teams. As a member of the ESPC, Silverpop will attend the summit, which will outline plans for 'Sender ID,' Microsoft's sender authentication protocol.

MicroStrategy Continues Relationship with Carrefour
Carrefour, a MicroStrategy customer for several years now, will continue the roll-out of its business intelligence solution, based on MicroStrategy technology, in new countries. MicroStrategy now has as customers seven of the top ten global retailers; six of the top ten U.S. diversified financial services companies; seven of the top ten U.S. consumer products companies; each of the top five U.S. commercial and savings banks; each of the top ten U.S. pharmaceutical companies; and nine of the top ten telecom companies.

Study Says Customer Service Email Response Not Meeting Expectations
JupiterResearch's new report "JupiterResearch Metrics: Customer Relationship Management, June 2004" found that while a greater number of companies responded to customer service email inquiries within six hours than during the same time period in 2003, the number of companies that failed to respond at all hit the highest levels in recent years (39 percent). Additionally, the number of companies that responded to email inquiries within 24 hours dropped 11 percent year over year, indicating that more companies are failing to meet even the longer end of consumer response expectations.
