The project is part of Consignia's ongoing program designed to strengthen its online presence by consolidating offerings from a number of disparate Web sites into a single transactional portal.
Sykes Reports Results [Top] Sykes announced second quarter 2002 net income of $2.7 million, or $0.07 per diluted share. Revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2002 totaled $112.8 million compared to revenues of $123.3 million for the same period last year.
CMC Expands To Philippines [Top] Centralized Marketing Company (CMC) and Transnational Diversified Group (TDG) announced that their jointly-owned contact center, e-Performax Centers Corp., will open in Manila, Philippines, in October 2002. Industry reports say that in the United States alone, 1.5 million call center seats could be outsourced, and to date, the Philippines has less than 10,000 seats filled, indicating the industry's enormous potential in the Southeast Asian nation.
