Of Defense Selects PeopleSoft [Top]
PeopleSoft announced that the US Department of Defense has
licensed the PeopleSoft 8 Human Resources Management System.
The solution will provide personnel and payroll information to
all branches of the U.S. military including the Army, Navy,
Air Force, Marine Corps, Reserves, and National Guard.

Software Awarded Best Of Show [Top]
Antenna Software announced that the company had earned a Best
of Show award as the Best Mobile Software Solution for mobile
service. The award was announced at Field Enterprise Solutions
(FES) Expo in Chicago.
Chordiant
Named To Annual Software 500 [Top]
Chordiant announced the company is now listed in the Software
500. Chordiant Software was ranked 25th out of the software
companies focusing on CRM, and among the top 300 largest
worldwide software companies with Year 2000 software revenue
of $33.7 million.
Firepond
Selected For Information Portal [Top]
Firepond announced that Gloucestershire County Council in the
U.K. has selected Firepond's Concierge web self-service
solution to facilitate access to their web portal, called the
"Gloucestershire Gateway." With Concierge, users
will be able to type in a question in their own words and be
directed to the web page containing the relevant information
and/or have their question answered directly, without the
intervention of a customer service agent.

Implements InterVoice-Brite [Top]
Travelocity.com has deployed a speech-driven customer service
application from iVB Enterprise Solutions that complements its
web strategy. The iVB Enterprise Solutions system uses
advanced speech technologies from SpeechWorks International to
provide callers with the ability to review their existing
travel plans from their phone.
Virgin
Selects Aspect [Top]
Aspect announced that Virgin Mobile will be using Aspect's
multichannel contact center solutions when it launches its
contact center in Singapore later this year. Aspect will
provide a contact center to Virgin Mobile in Singapore to
enable the company to create a blend of live and self-service
solutions that is optimal for its business.
