    SAP announced a software initiative with Ford Motor Company and Caterpillar to develop a service parts supply chain software solution. The software solution aims to facilitate increased service levels of spare parts and reduced logistics costs, enabled by mySAP Supply Chain Management and mySAP Customer Relationship Management software.



    Sikorsky Aircraft Takes Off With Vignette [Top]
    Vignette announced that Sikorsky Aircraft is powering its corporate and customer service Web sites using Vignette V6 content management applications. Vignette solutions are powering Sikorsky's main Internet site, www.sikorsky.com, as well as its customer service site, wcs.sikorsky.com.



    Firstwave Deploys eCRM Solution For Speedy Hire [Top]
    Firstwave Technologies UK Limited has been selected by Speedy Hire to implement an eCRM solution that provides access to customer information. Firstwave eCRM will be deployed as a hosted solution for Speedy Hire's Major Accounts team in the first phase of the project.



    NetManage Issued Patent [Top]
    NetManage announced that it has been issued a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its method for providing a persistent HTTP tunnel between a client and a Web server.



    ATG Strikes Deal With Telewest [Top]
    ATG announced the ATG Enterprise Portal Suite has been selected by Telewest to enable personalized, e-business initiatives from a single unified platform. For ATG, the implementation will highlight the strengths of its applications across the frontline of Telewest's service organization.



    Healthcare Providers With iSky [Top]
    iSKY announced that its customer satisfaction programs have enabled several healthcare providers to increase plan policy and procedural compliance as well as decrease patient defection. In one program, iSKY contacted new managed healthcare members to inform them of plan policies and procedures. As a result of this program, adjustments were decreased by 25 percent, claims denials were decreased by 48 percent and preventative care visits were increased by six percent.



    Group 1 Software Reports Revenue [Top]
    Group 1 Software reported first quarter revenue of $23.4 million for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2002, compared with the prior year's first quarter revenue of $20.8 million. Diluted earnings were $0.14 per share compared with $0.01 per share the prior year.
