SPSS Reports Results [Top] SPSS announced results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2003. Revenues and diluted earnings per share were $51.3 million and $0.13 in the quarter, as compared to $53.0 million and a loss per share of $(0.02) in the same period last year, respectively.
Intervoice Expands Training Curriculum [Top] Intervoice announced the addition of training services for Microsoft's Speech Application Software Development Kit (SASDK) and the Microsoft Speech Server platform to complement its Voice User Interface (VUI) design and development services for speech-enabled applications. As part of Intervoice's effort to provide standards-based voice solutions to enterprises, developers, systems integrators and traditional equipment providers, the new training courses are a natural extension of the Company being a Microsoft Certified Partner and its 20-year legacy in voice technology.
BBC Radio 2 And Five Live Choose Telecom Express [Top] Telecom Express is to provide BBC Radio Five Live with a new automated call handling service to deal with a multitude of interactive listener response options. This allows the radio stations to offer listeners a variety of services without a significant cost escalation. The development follows Telecom Express' appointment last November as BBC Radio 2's supplier.
