ViryaNet Partner Sells Service Hub License [Top] ViryaNet announced that its partner Telvent has sold ViryaNet Service Hub software license to utility company Canal de Isabel II, located in Madrid, Spain. Canal de Isabel II will use the wireless, Internet, and integration capabilities of ViryaNet Service Hub to provide mobile capabilities to a legacy work order management application, which serves 76 members of its field staff.

Hyperion Business Performance Management software was chosen to help McDermott achieve a faster close and standardized financial reporting, and to facilitate the financial forecasting process.
KANA Supports British Inland [Top] KANA announced that the United Kingdom's Inland Revenue (IR) department has implemented KANA Response software and KANA IQ software to provide taxpayers with essential support through online channels and over the telephone. With KANA, Inland Revenue provides taxpayers with support, either in writing or over the telephone.
Boehringer Ingelheim Selects BackWeb [Top] BackWeb announced that Boehringer Ingelheim has selected the BackWeb ProactivePortal Server solution to extend the reach of its enterprise portal initiative, called portalUK, to its mobile workforce. ProactivePortal Server was chosen to complement the corporate portal framework provided by Plumtree Software, allowing offline access to content delivered on the portal.
