And Alcatel Work Together [Top]
SAP, Alcatel, and Genesys announced an alliance aimed at
improving the effectiveness of how businesses link their
customers with contact center agents, knowledge workers
and related front- and back-office processes for more
personalized customer relationships. The alliance builds
on an existing connection between mySAP.com from SAP and
Genesys' call center capabilities, which have received
positive market acceptance.

and Cognos Deliver Solution [Top]
Onyx announced a partnership with Cognos. Onyx has
committed to bundle and resell Cognos' line of business
intelligence solutions in conjunction with Onyx's CRM
portal suite.
Epicor
And TrustMarque Sign Alliance [Top]
Epicor announced that it has signed an alliance with
TrustMarque to incorporate TrustMarque's credit card
processing technology into the new version of Epicor
eCommerce StoreFront. Epicor's eCommerce StoreFront
enables companies to market and sell products over the
Web, giving consumers and trading partners a location
for making purchases.

Gemini Ernst & Young Joins Blue Martini [Top]
Blue Martini announced the addition of Cap Gemini Ernst
& Young to the Blue Martini Software Alliance
Program at the highest level. Under the alliance, Cap
Gemini Ernst & Young's consumer goods, retail and
distribution practice will be able to offer to companies
Blue Martini applications for Commerce, Marketing,
Channels and Service.
Cambridge
Chooses Vignette [Top]
Vignette announced that Cambridge Energy Research
Associates (CERA) chose Vignette's applications to
develop an enhanced version of its Web site,
www.cera.com. Vignette's applications provide CERA with
a browser-based content entry application for all its
editors, writers and researchers.
SpeechWorks
Awarded Patent For DialogModules [Top]
SpeechWorks announced that it has been issued U.S.
Patent No. 6,173,266 for the design and use of its
DialogModules technology. DialogModules, introduced in
1996, are pre-packaged application building blocks used
by developers to deliver speech-enabled applications.
With DialogModules, software developers are spared from
re-writing code for frequently occurring functions
within speech solutions.
BroadVision
Live On Evolve [Top]
Evolve announced that BroadVision has implemented Evolve
ServiceSphere. BroadVision's go live comes at a time
when Evolve is expanding its customer portfolio to
include numerous software companies such as ATG,
Informix Software, MRO, Remedy Corporation, ServiceWare
and SPSS Inc.
Apropos
Reports Revenues [Top]
Apropos announced record revenues of $10.0 million for
the fourth quarter of 2000, with software license
revenues climbing 95% over the fourth quarter of 1999.
Total revenues increased 73% over the same quarter a
year ago, with strong sequential revenue growth of 21%
over the previous quarter.
