Joins Oracle [Top]
Oracle announced that eCal has joined the Oracle
Portal Partner Initiative. eCal is developing portlets
that will provide Internet-based calendaring and
scheduling communications services, in line with its
offerings that simplify corporate management of
time-dependent information and events.
FleetBoston
Financial Selects MicroStrategy [Top]
MicroStrategy announced that in the fourth quarter of
2000 it entered into an enterprise software license
agreement with FleetBoston Financial. The deal allows
FleetBoston to use MicroStrategy's technology as an
enterprise platform for FleetBoston's business
intelligence and CRM applications in a portal
environment.
Synchrony
Announces Promotion [Top]
Synchrony announced the promotion of Tom Hammergren,
the company's Executive VP of Products and Services,
to Chief Operating Officer. In this new position,
Hammergren will have responsibility for leading
marketing, engineering, professional services and
operations.

in Microsoft Program [Top]
ManagedOps.com announced it is a new member of the
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program. The
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program provides a
way for customers to identify companies that have
proven their commitment and expertise in one or more
specialized areas when delivering Microsoft
technologies.
Primus
Delivers To Sony Life Insurance [Top]
Primus announced that Sony Life Insurance will use
Primus software to enable end-users to resolve
problems and questions via the Internet. Sony deployed
Primus eSupport and Primus eServer in its Sales
Support Division after looking for a cross-platform
knowledge management tool that had search technology.
End-users can now use Primus software to access the
knowledgebase and get the information they are looking
for on the Web.
mySAP
CRM [Top]
SAP announced that more than 400 companies purchased
mySAP CRM over the past year. When Sony Computer
Entertainment Australia launched PlayStation.com in
November 2000, it chose mySAP CRM to deliver an
e-tailing solution. mySAP CRM enables customers to
browse through a Playstation.com product catalog,
collect their merchandise in a virtual shopping cart
and then complete their transactions.
Kana
to Supply Barnes & Noble.com With ERM [Top]
Kana announced that it has been selected by Barnes
& Noble.com to provide customer service
capabilities that leverage self-service and
automation. Kana Service is a Web-based solution that
integrates the enterprise, the customer and aspects of
phone, email and Web interaction into a single,
browser-based application.
Pleasant
Company Selects Xchange [Top]
Xchange announced that Pleasant Company has purchased
Xchange software and services in order to enhance its
ability to market its wares directly to consumers via
the Internet, call center and catalogs. Pleasant
Company's goals for the program are to build
relationships directly with consumers and then drive
more profitability from those relationships via direct
marketing campaigns.

Frank Standardizes On Siebel [Top]
Siebel announced that Knight Frank has standardized on
Siebel eBusiness Applications within its commercial
property division. By deploying Siebel eBusiness
Applications across its European commercial property
sales organization, Knight Frank is increasing its
sales revenue and profitability while enhancing the
quality of service its commercial property customers
receive.
Dynacast
Signs Deal With Epicor [Top]
Epicor announced that Dynacast will implement Epicor
eManufacturing, powered by Vantage, to automate its
manufacturing processes. Dynacast will also take
advantage of Epicor's hosting capabilities, provided
by IBM, to maintain consistency in procedures, provide
global access to information, and eliminate the need
for and the cost of a formal information systems
staff.
