BroadVision Begins Second Year Of E-Seminar Series [Top] BroadVision announced the continuation of its E-Seminar series, ``How To Create Business Value Through Personalized Self-Service.'' The first E-Seminar of the winter series begins Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. PDT and will look more closely into extending the role of CRM through personalized self-service.
Convergys Implements ICOMS For AT&T [Top] Convergys announced that it has completed the implementation of its ICOMS billing and customer care solution for AT&T Broadband. In January 2001, Convergys announced a contract with AT&T Broadband to perform outsourced billing services for AT&T Broadband's residential telephone customers.
Compaq With Delano [Top] Delano announced that Compaq Computer Corporation has implemented the Delano Velocity Service and E-Business Interaction Suite products to enhance their customer service processes and reduce the response time of customer interactions. The Delano system also allows Compaq to easily re-configure the flow of service requests as the nature of their business or their customers change.
Avaya Provides Converged Network For Telemedicine [Top] Avaya announced it is installing a converged voice, video and data network for Kennedy Krieger Institute. Kennedy Krieger will use the network for advanced applications -- including telemedicine, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and wireless technology.
Enterprise Self-Service Pays Off For Pitney Bowes [Top] BroadVision announced that Pitney Bowes has launched its enhanced BroadVision powered site, www.pitneybowes.com, adding a variety of new features that provide improved service for Pitney Bowes customers. As part of the development of the new site, Pitney Bowes has also migrated to the latest J2EE-enabled version of BroadVision's enterprise self-service application suite.
Walker Information Appoints CIO [Top] Walker Information has promoted Brian Kovacs to chief information officer and senior vice president. A contributor to Walker Information's technological infrastructure, Kovacs has been a key leader in the effort to develop and implement Walker's pioneering customer loyalty management program, which offers an online system to help clients better understand how customers feel about their company.
Aspect Partners With InfoTrain [Top] Aspect announced that Aspect and InfoTrain Solutions are partnering to help companies turn contact center data into business intelligence that will help them become more productive and profitable. Aspect aims to make the data easily accessible for mining and analysis via Aspect Customer DataMart software, which captures all transaction information and makes it available for reporting and analysis.
