And Siebel Fortify Commitment [Top]
Actuate announced it has broadened the scope of its
three-year Premier Software Alliance with Siebel. Siebel has
chosen Actuate's e.Report Server as the Information Delivery
solution for Siebel eBusiness Applications based on
Actuate's capabilities, including DHTML, report scheduling,
solution scalability, cross-platform support and the ability
to access information through Siebel Business Objects.
Trimble
Joins Forces With Remedy [Top]
Trimble Navigation Limited has joined forces with Remedy to
combine GPS technology with wireless communications and
software to meet applications in market ranging from
architecture, engineering, construction and agriculture to
asset management, automotive and timing. Trimble is
initially deploying Remedy Customer Support and subsequently
adding Remedy Sales Continuum, Remedy Web Continuum and
Remedy Leads Management.
Broadbase
Announces Revenue [Top]
Broadbase announced its revenue for the fourth quarter and
fiscal year 2000 both ending December 31, 2000. Revenues for
the fourth quarter marked the largest quarter in Broadbase's
history at $17.2 million, up 317% over the quarter ended
December 31, 1999 and 20% over the quarter ended September
30, 2000.

Wood Named CEO For Kana [Top]
Kana announced that Jay Wood, president of Kana, has been
named CEO and chairman of the board for Kana. Mr. Wood was
CEO and chairman of Silknet when the company was acquired by
Kana on April 19, 2000.

Japan Executes Agreement With AstraZeneca K.K. [Top]
Dendrite announced that it has secured an agreement with
AstraZeneca K.K. The company has signed a four-year
agreement with AstraZeneca K.K. to implement the j-forceWEB
with ForceAnalyzer solution. The offering provides sales
representatives, field management and head office personnel
with a location from which to access product information,
analyze sales information, record activity data and access
physician and institution databases.
NCR
Names Gerald A. Gagliardi Senior VP [Top]
NCR announced that Gerald A. Gagliardi has been named senior
VP of its Worldwide Customer Services Division, succeeding
Bill Eisenman who is retiring as planned after 22 years with
the company. Gagliardi joins NCR after serving as a
consultant to E. M. Warburg Pincus & Company, LLC, where
he focused on acquisitions in the services industry.

e-Accelerator Recieves Award [Top]
BackWeb announced that e-Accelerator, a subscription based,
content delivery and communications solution for global
enterprises, was recently named ``Product of the Year'' in
the desktop messaging software category as selected by
Customer Interaction Solutions magazine's editors and the
TMC Labs' engineers.
